Mirjam van Huis is an acupuncturist and massage therapist. She works in the center of Amsterdam since 2001 and she can treat a wide range of complaints with acupuncture, massage or a combination of both. She is specialized in fertility problems or pregnancy problems, headache and migraine, intestinal problems, problems of the Musculoskeletal System, and burn out or stress related issues. The massage techniques she uses are Deep Tissue Massage, Acupressure (Tuina) and Trigger Point Therapy. She gives pregnancy massages. Additional to acupuncture she can give Chinese dietary advice derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Mirjam is quite experienced. She has taught Deep Tissue Massage at the Academy for Massage therapy and Movement over 3 years (and also graduated for massage therapy here). She graduated cum laude from Shenzhou University – School of Acupuncture in Amsterdam.

Her treatments are partly covered by insurcance companies (you need the extra packages for that), she is a member of Zhong and LVNT.
